November, 2007 RE: Commercial real estate expert The purpose of this letter is to introduce myself to you, as an expert witness in real estate brokerage practice, and commercial real estate. I am the President of the Commercial Real Estate Institute, Inc., a real estate school accredited by both the states of Arizona and Nevada. The Institute provides college level education in sales, leasing, property management, financing, and investment for commercial real estate practitioners, leading to professional certification. I am also the President and Designated Broker of Record for First American Property Advisors, Inc., a commercial brokerage in Arizona, and a multi-practice brokerage in Nevada. My real estate experience dates back to 1972 (see enclosed CV). I have served as an expert in 14 cases in Maricopa County Arizona, and 2 cases in Clark County Nevada. I have appeared in Court in this capacity once, in Arizona; the rest were settled. I can provide a complimentary one hour consultation with counsel to determine if the case is one in which my services might be helpful. Also enclosed is a sample agreement. I am normally engaged by counsel, not counsel’s client.
